Wabi-sabi

Wabi-sabi is the Japanese concept of the acceptance and appreciation of imperfection, transience, and incompleteness. It celebrates the idea (and paradox) that while nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect; the world is a beautiful, functional place.

The Global Oneness Project is a superb example. Check out the photo essay about the Hadzabe of Tanzania.
